There are many reasons for fan failure. This is often due to the blades breaking due to a fall. But what to do if the device simply stops turning on. Let's try to understand the main reasons for this.

Fan diagnostics and repair process
First you need to remove the protective grille and impeller to get to the electric motor and control unit. The protective covers are unscrewed from them.
Then the fan is plugged into the outlet, and you need to check whether there is voltage on the block with the mode switches. If it is not on the inlet, then the power cord inside is simply broken, and if you change it, the fan will most likely work. The contacts of the switches are also checked, this may be the cause.
If everything is fine with them, then the reason must be sought in the engine itself. The voltage at its terminals is checked to ensure that the wires coming from the buttons are not damaged. If they are not the source of the problem, then the motor will be disassembled.
Provided that there are no obvious signs of a short circuit on the stator winding, then most likely the engine overheated at one time and its fuse failed.
Alternatively, and just for testing, you can very carefully cut it off and connect the wires directly. Then the fan will start working. In the future, it is necessary to install a new fuse with the same temperature characteristics.
However, the fuse is secured in such a way that there is a high risk of the power wires being torn off from the windings. In this case, this is what happened, so there is no point in repairing this fan. Take this into account when repairing so as not to repeat a similar mistake.
