The surface of the white plastic window sills is gradually turning yellow. As a result, after a couple of years they don’t look presentable at all, especially if there were pots of flowers on them that left white, non-yellowed circles. You can bleach the plastic on the windowsill in the following way.
What you will need:
- Rags;
- soap solution;
- hydrogen peroxide.
Window sill bleaching process
Before bleaching, the window sill must be thoroughly washed from dirt with soapy water.
Then hydrogen peroxide is poured onto it and rubbed with a napkin.
The yellowness should soak for at least 5-10 minutes. After this, the peroxide is washed off. It gives a noticeable whitening effect. After this treatment, the window sill will look like new.
