The process of making a deflector to increase natural draft in the ventilation system
To assemble the deflector, you need to connect together 3 plastic tees 110 mm. The central one is located horizontally, and the remaining 2 tees are connected to it from the sides with their side outlets.The first one is put on as usual, and the second one is connected from the socket side through a piece of pipe.
The finished deflector must be connected to the outlet of the ventilation duct, and as high as possible.
If this is a garage, then a ventilation hole is made in its ceiling. A pipe 2-3 m high with a deflector installed on top is vertically fixed into it.
Exhaust ventilation will simply change after the upgrade. Such a deflector in a garage with a pipe on the roof only 2 m high not only draws in smoke and odors, it literally sucks in debris. The rod easily grabs and throws large pieces of foam from the pipe in moments. So a deflector made from sewer tees is a complete replacement for a powerful fan.
