After the bristles on floor sweeping brushes wear out, they are left with a handle and a base that can be used for various DIY projects. We offer 3 options for using them to your advantage. Each idea has a right to life, and you may want to repeat it.

1. Camera tripod

You can unscrew the cuttings from three brushes and clean them from the frayed polymer shell. Then, if necessary, they are cut to the same length.

The cuttings should be painted and drilled, making 2 holes in each. One is drilled from the edge, and the second from the opposite side, indented by a third of the length from the end.

Through the outer holes, the cuttings are tied together with a plastic tie. Self-tapping screws are screwed into the remaining holes, with which you need to hook the chain. As a result, it will serve as a limiter to support the tripod legs during installation.

Then we take the stand for the phone, drill its base, and install it on the tripod with a tie.

That's it, the device can be used for photography. With it, the photos will be clearer.

2. Wall hanger

You can remove the lint from worn brushes, leaving the base behind. It is drilled and painted.

We cut off the threaded tips from the cuttings. They need to be painted too. The open ends of the tips can be covered with bottle caps, gluing them with hot glue.

Then we screw the bases of the brushes onto the wall and screw the tips into them. As a result, we get an unusual hanger for hats, umbrellas or bags.

3. Curtain rod for the bathroom

You can use two old brushes to make a curtain rod for a bathroom curtain. To do this, we clean them of bristles. We cut one base in front of the thread, and the second along it. The resulting blanks are sanded and painted.

We screw the parts onto the bathroom walls and insert a handle or tube into them. Then we hang the curtain on the cornice.
