Strawberries are a sweet berry that is added to desserts, decorated with cakes, pastries, and eaten just like that. In winter, it is difficult to find tasty, juicy berries at the market or in the store. And in the summer you can buy fruits with pesticides. But growing strawberries in your summer cottage is not as difficult as it seems at first glance.
Required:
- germination pot;
- garden fertile soil;

- sharp knife.
Growing strawberries from seeds:
Place the flower pot in a wide container. It is important that there are holes at the bottom of the pot. So, the liquid that the seeds do not absorb can easily pass through the ground. Fill the pot halfway with soil and lightly compact it.
Prepare the strawberries by removing the stem. Choose a large berry with a lot of seeds.
Using a sharp knife, cut off the top of the strawberry, as if peeling it.
Place the cut parts of the berry on the ground in the pot. Distribute them at a short distance from each other.
Sprinkle the strawberry seeds with soil and water generously with clean water from a spray bottle. Excess water will seep through the holes in the bottom of the pot and flow into the container.
Place the pot in a sunny place and water the soil periodically. It should always be damp. In a few days the first shoots will appear.
And after 75 days the bushes will reach a height of about 10-15 cm.
Plants of this size can be transplanted into outdoor garden beds. To do this, divide the grown strawberry sprouts into tubers and plant them on the plot. Use your finger to make a hole in the soil and place the sprout in the hole. Place the tubers at a distance of about 10 cm from each other.
Outdoor plants also need to be watered deeply. Wait for the fruits to ripen and harvest.
