When performing repairs, painting work looks easy in comparison with rough dismantling and plastering. But in reality they are not so simple, because extreme care and concentration are required so as not to leave smudges, streaks and paint gaps. The following tips will help you avoid such mistakes.

1. Roller cleaning attachment

To make the attachment, we take sheet plastic, and at the edge we cut out a semicircle on it, corresponding in diameter to the cross-section of the roller.

This attachment is glued to the side of the bathtub.

Now the roller soaked in paint can be squeezed out of excess on this device.

2. Brush hook

If you need to put your brush in the paint, it will definitely leave a puddle on the surface. Just screw a screw into it and use it as a hook. They can be used to hook the brush directly onto the paint can. Then everything will flow into it.

3. High-quality brush washing

To clean your brush perfectly, fill a container with solvent for the paint you are using, and place a dish scraper in this tray.By wiping the lint on it, you can completely get rid of any remaining paint.

4. Spin for small rollers

To squeeze out thin rollers, you can cut off the neck of a PET bottle. It needs to be sawn lengthwise from one side. Then the neck is screwed into the bucket with a self-tapping screw.

Now the roller can be passed through this funnel, and thereby squeeze out the paint. Its excess will flow into the bucket, so not even a drop will be wasted.

5. Refinement of the brush for painting corners

To paint inside corners evenly in one pass, trim the bristle of a wide brush as shown in the example. After this, the tool will distribute the paint with the same layer thickness and without sagging.

6. Fine painting along the contour with a wide brush

If you need to make a clear line, for example, in a corner, without moving to the adjacent surface, then tie a small bunch from the outermost pile of a wide brush.

They can be painted along a clear contour. The beauty of this method is that you don’t need to buy many brushes of different sizes, but work with one tool.
