Soap has been in demand among people for centuries. In our ultra-modern era, this product, important for the human body, is available in incredible variety. But factory soap has a significant disadvantage - it does not provide any benefit to the skin other than its original function of cleanliness. Another thing is handmade soap. It gently cleanses the skin, moisturizes and nourishes it.
Learning how to make soap is very easy. The process does not take much time and allows you to add those additives to the soap that seem most useful to you. In this master class you will learn how to create mint soap, which has an invigorating and refreshing effect and evokes thoughts of the awakening spring.

You will need

  • - 100 grams of soap base (sold in specialized stores).
  • - a teaspoon of mint leaves, a teaspoon of mint decoction.
  • - a teaspoon of sea buckthorn oil (or any base oil).
  • - 8 drops of mint essential oil.
  • - 1 teaspoon shea butter (optional, but it has excellent protective and moisturizing properties, which is beneficial for the skin).
  • - a jar for melting the base.
  • - soap mold (jars of cheese and yogurt, children's molds, silicone molds will do)
  • - wooden board, wooden stirring stick and knife.

Afterwards, the container is placed in the microwave for approximately 30-40 seconds until the cubes are completely dissolved. Cover the container with cling film. Be sure to make sure the base doesn't boil!

Add one teaspoon of sea buckthorn oil and one teaspoon of mint decoction to the melted soap base. Both the oil and the decoction are natural dyes, which is why our base changes its color to golden.

Add a teaspoon of shea butter. Stir until dissolved. Add a teaspoon of dry mint herb and mix everything thoroughly. The final touch is adding drops of mint essential oil. Carefully drop in and mix. Now our soap base has acquired a very interesting shade.
