One of the most famous brands of potato chips is Pringles. The secret of their preparation is kept in the strictest confidence. But one thing is clear - these are natural potato chips, which is why they attract consumers. Let's prepare crispy and thin potato chips that are simply perfect in taste.

We will need:

  • large potatoes;
  • onion;
  • water;
  • salt;
  • corn starch;
  • seasonings to taste.

For 1 large potato, about half a medium onion will do. Over time, you will learn to select ingredients perfectly to suit your taste.

How to make Pringles chips at home, quickly and easily

Cut the vegetables into pieces and boil the water. Add potatoes and onions at the same time. Cook over medium heat, checking for doneness with a toothpick, knife or fork.

Place the boiled onions and potatoes into a food processor. You can use an immersion blender or even puree the vegetables manually using a masher. We turn products into puree.

We will make chips with two different flavors. Divide the mixture in half, pouring it into different containers.Add ground red pepper, thyme and salt to the first cup of the mixture. Secondly, garlic powder and salt. The result will be spicy and garlicky chips. Mix well.

Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to each portion and mix again. The consistency should be similar to liquid sour cream. Depending on the size of the potato, the amount of starch and seasonings may vary. Don't let the mixture become too runny.

Fill a pastry bag or syringe with the resulting mixture. You can use a simple thick plastic bag, then cut off its tip.

Place parchment or baking paper on a baking sheet and squeeze out a small amount of the mixture equidistant from each other.

Cover with the same paper. Take a glass or mug with a flat bottom and press on each ball so that it turns into a flat circle. The circles should not touch each other.

Place in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Carefully remove the top layer of paper. We pry each piece with a knife and place it on a plate. Delicious chips are ready. Crispy, thin, made from natural products, very tasty and really similar to Pringles. Be sure to try it and bon appetit.
