To diversify your apartment or your cozy home with decorations, you can create something original and unusual for the interior, for example, a Christmas wreath made of ribbons. Just imagine, there are store-bought Christmas wreaths everywhere, and very ordinary ones at that, and you will bring a little creativity into your house.
In order to make such a New Year's accessory, you need to stock up on the following materials and tools: wire (2 meters), scissors, thread with a needle, glue, two ribbons per meter 5 cm wide, 5 multi-colored ribbons with different widths, 2 thin colored ribbons by meter, as well as beads and buttons.
We divide the wire into two parts and twist it, giving it a round shape.
Now it’s time for the first base tapes. First, we take one ribbon and wrap it around the wire, and then we do the same procedure with the second ribbon.We secure the ribbons in several places with a thread and a needle.
Now is the time to decorate the wreath base. We take a ribbon, preferably more green, because spruce and pine trees are rewarded by nature with just this color, and now we make bows or flowers. It can be either roses or simple daisies, whatever your heart desires.
For example, one of the simple flowers can be made this way: divide the ribbon in half and bend it at an angle in the middle, and then alternately place the ribbon on top, first on one side, then on the other.
When we have folded the ribbon in this way, it is necessary to pull one ribbon to make a flower.
When you have already made enough flowers and bows, we begin to attach them with glue, thread and a needle to the base for the wreath.
The final touch to your creation is to wrap thin ribbons around the entire wreath with flowers and bows. Your product is ready to give you and your loved ones a New Year's mood.
