Crochet openwork mittens

Manufacturing technology:
These lacy fingerless gloves, or mitts, are back in style! Experienced needlewomen can knit this elegant accessory in one evening; beginners can do it in two, since the complexity of the product is low. Our model is crocheted No. 2 from acrylic (size 19). We start knitting the product with two openwork square motifs, combining which we get the cuff of our mitt. We knit squares like this.
We close four in. p. (air loops) in a circle.
1st row: eight st. b. n (single crochet) to the circumference of the base ring.
2nd row: knit the starting three vp, *three more vp, then one st. s n. (double crochet), three ch, repeat from * 6 more times, three ch, close with a half-stitch from the last of the three starting loops.
3rd row: again the initial three chain stitches, *knit three sts into the lower arc. s.n., three v.p., one st. is knitted into the next arc. b. n, from * repeat the same three times, three vp, close with a half-column from the last of the starting loops.
4th row: initial three ch, *three ch, one st. b. n. on the central of the three stations. With. n. base row, then 3 vp, 3 tbsp. s n.into the arcuate lower arch, one ch, then we make a picot of three chs, and knit one ch, then three sts. s n. into the lower arc air arch, repeat from * three times with the difference that in the third repetition, instead of the final st. s n. three vp are considered the beginning of the row. Connect everything with a half-column.
fifth row: Moving in a circle, alternate three vp. and art. b. n., performing it on each lower arched arch of the previous row and on each center of the “shell” from art. s n. base row.
Repeat again to make two squares.

two squares

Next, we stretch the squares on a solid base and connect with a crochet in the places of the side seams, for this we knit two chain stitches, and then, alternating the upper and lower fragments, we perform a st. b.n., and again two v.p. and move on to another square, etc.

move on to another square

When everything is ready, it looks like a “mesh”.

And now the side seams are ready. Let's move on to the expanding part of the mitt.
1st row: starting three ch, *one ch, two sts. s n. on an arc arch, one st. s n. at the station b.n. basics, two tbsp. s n. on an arc arch, one ch, repeat the indicated sequence according to the pattern for each square fragment, two stitches are knitted at the side joints. with n., secure everything with a half-column.
2nd row: three v. p. at the beginning, one tbsp. s n. in one v.p. base row, *followed by two vp, one st. b. n. in the second article. s n. out of five, three vp, one st bn. in the fourth st. s n. out of five, ch two, on the next five sts. s n. We also knit all five stitches from the previous row. with n., repeat from * according to the pattern for each square fragment, one stitch is knitted in the places of the side joints. with n., secure everything with a half-column.
3rd row: again the initial 3rd century. p, *one vp, five st. s n.“fan” into the arched arch of the base, one vp, five st. s n. in a row for the next five st. s n. base row, repeat from * according to the pattern for each square fragment, one stitch is knitted in the places of the side joints. with n., secure everything with a half-column.
4th row: starting three vp, two vp, *perform a “slingshot” of two sts. with n., separated by one v.p., on the central of the five st. s n. base, one v.p., in one v.p. bases separating the fives of Art. s n. basics, knit one tbsp. with n., then one v.p. From * we repeat the pattern for each square fragment, one stitch is knitted in the places of the side joints. with n., secure everything with a half-column.
5th row: starting three vp, two vp, *perform a “slingshot” of two sts. with n., separated by one v.p., in the center of each “slingshot” of the base and on each single st. alternating with it. s n. bases, connected slingshots are divided into one c. n. In this row, “slingshots” are also knitted at the places of the side joints.

slingshots are tied

The next, 6th row, is knitted in the same way, with the difference that we leave three slingshots unknitted - in order to later start the thumb here.

leave unknitted

Let's start working on the 7th row; we knit it in the same way as the 6th. Also, in the unknitted area of the base, we knit a chain of the required number of loops (in our case, 9 chain stitches) so that it fits into the gap between the index and thumb, and secure it with a half-column.
In the 8th row, repeat according to the pattern, three sts. s n. in the center of each slingshot, separating them with one ch, we do the same twice on the knitted loops of the thumb.

knitted loops

In the 9th row on each triple st. s n. a pair of stitches is knitted. with n., separated by two v.p. and thus the future mitt is given the shape of a hand.

hand shape is given

In the 10th row we continue to narrow the part, performing triple stitches. s n. with a single peak, the central one is located at the junction of the previous two sts. s n. grounds.

connections of the previous two

In the subsequent 11th row, a three-ch stitch, one treble stitch is performed. b.n. in the lower arches and the central part of the triple fused art. s n.

In the 12th row, a tie is made of two vp, one st. b.n., each st. without double crochets it is knitted into arched arches knitted in the previous row.
For hands with long fingers, the binding can be repeated further. Thumb tying – all st. s n.
The right mitt is ready.
