How to make an elephant out of paper
Take a square sheet.
Fold it horizontally and vertically.
Expand.
Now bend alternately along the diagonals.
You have a square with horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines.
Grab the side corners of the square closest to you and connect its sides.
The diagonal fold will be on the inside. Do the same with the opposite marked square.
You will get something like this. The center of the square is at the top.
Bend the side corners and bottom sides towards the center line.
Turn the workpiece over and bend it in the same way.
Bend the top corner down.
Iron all folds well.
Unfold the top again crafts. Fold back the top leaf. Inside the “pocket” all the markings you just made are clearly visible.
Along the four folds that are located at the edges, you must bend the sheet inward, aligning the corners.
You will end up with a tall diamond shape.
Turn the craft over to the other side and fold the edges inward there too.
Lower the top corner down.
Turn the workpiece over again. You will see two pointed triangles there.
You must bend each triangle 45 degrees in different directions so that their vertical lines coincide with the horizontal.
Press the folds. You will continue to work on them.
Pull the outer edges of this narrow triangle apart.
Bend along the side lines so that you get a diamond like this.
Make a rhombus from the second triangle too.
Turn the craft over again. There will be a small triangle there.
Connect its top to the center of the craft. Smooth the fold.
Turn the workpiece over again. Bend the side diamonds towards the middle.
Now bend each of them horizontally in half towards the center line. This is you making legs for an elephant.
Place them together with the folds inward and bend them to the side where the small triangle is located on the bottom of the workpiece.
Fold both halves horizontally.
Now make the back of the elephant. To do this, measure the height of a small triangle on the fold of the part and, at the same distance, bend the left side of the workpiece down so that its right side is parallel to the “legs” of the elephant.
Unbend it again. Spread its sides and fold the moving part inward along the fold.
Make a mark on the long piece so that it is in line with the elephant's legs.
Fold the corner up.
Spread the edge of the workpiece again and fold the corner there along the fold.
Bend the side edges so that you get a rectangle.
Turn the very tip of the upward-curved part outward, imitating a ponytail. Press both halves together.
Now start making the trunk.Bend the sharp triangle so that its right side is parallel to the elephant's legs.
Pull apart the side parts of the part, and tuck this triangle in there along the prepared folds.
Fold the sides of this piece towards the center line.
Connect both halves.
By bending the trunk in two places, give it a natural position.
Press on both sides so that the figure does not move in different directions.
