Today, many traditions are changing or supplemented. Wedding attributes are not left without attention. For example, relatively recently a tradition has emerged of placing beautifully decorated bottles of champagne on the newlyweds’ wedding table, one of which is drunk on the first wedding anniversary, and the second on the birth of the first child.

Wedding champagne

The style of decorating this attribute can be completely different, it all depends on the theme of the event itself. I decided to present such a duet.
To create these accessories I needed:
  • champagne;
  • satin ribbons (5 cm and 0.5 cm);
  • organza ribbon 1 cm wide;
  • beads of two colors;
  • thick fishing line;
  • glue moment;
  • scissors;
  • gold foil;
  • white wide lace;
  • small flowers made of satin ribbons.

I needed

In this MK, I decided to simply describe in detail the process of creating flowers, and placing them on the bottle is the personal fantasy of each needlewoman.
First of all, let's make the largest element - roses. To do this, cut the satin ribbon into 5 cm squares.

cut into squares

Then fold it in half to form a triangle. The main thing is to accurately align the corners.

align the corners exactly

We also press the side corners against the first two.

Stepping down about 1 cm from the resulting corner, cut off all the corners and carefully fasten all the layers of the tape using a lighter.

For one rose you need 5 of these petals.

For one rose

They will represent the middle of the bud. Now let's move on to the next petals. To do this, fold the square diagonally, as in the first case.

And already at this stage we cut off the lower corners.

We seal the edges with a lighter and press the side corners like this.

with fire

We also fasten them using fire. I needed 10 of these petals for a small rose and 15 for a large one.

Let's start putting it together

We begin to collect all the petals together. Take a small petal and apply glue to its lower edge.

Then gradually wrap it into a tube.

You need to twist the “pockets” outward, then you will get such a nice middle.

Then we begin to gradually paste over it with small petals.

It's the turn of the big petals. We also coat it with glue only on the wrong side, and stick it on the rest.

It is important to note that the bottom edge does not need to be exactly at the bottom of the previous petals. If you move it a little, the rose will turn out prettier and more open.

it will turn out to be a rose

The end result is such beauty.

Since I will be attaching it to a flat surface, we cut off all the irregularities at the bottom and fill it with glue so that the petals do not fall out of the middle.

When I decided to make such bottles, I drew cables with beads as an obligatory element in my imagination. But what was my surprise when none of the stores in the city had them? I came to the conclusion that I would have to do them myself. I bought a skein of the thickest fishing line and beads of those colors that perfectly matched my color scheme.

matched my color scheme

I cut the fishing line into pieces of the required length, and then simply applied a drop of glue to the fishing line, threaded the bead and gave it time to stick.

I came to the conclusion that I will continue to do this in the future (it’s economical, and I always have the right colors). For the next flowers I used organza and a thin satin ribbon.

used organza

Cut the organza ribbon into 8cm pieces.

Then fold them in half and secure the edges with a lighter.

We collect all the resulting “droplets” onto a thread and secure them with a couple of stitches.

We do the same procedure with the satin ribbon.

we also do it with a satin ribbon

Then we simply connect both bows together, and cover the place of the thread knot with a bead.

Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that a rose on a bottle would not look particularly impressive, so it was decided to make the background from tulle. Since I decided to use 2 roses for each bottle, I measured out two strips.

measured out two stripes

Then, we fold each strip several times and carefully cut out such a corner.

The result is a Christmas tree like this.

We collect the lower part of the ribbon onto a thread using small stitches.

Pull it together and secure it around.

glue the rose

Now, glue the rose to the center and insert our cables.

posted at my own discretion

The entire further process is a flight of fancy. She glued sheets of foil to the bottom of the bottle and covered the top with lace. Well, I placed the rest of the elements at my own discretion.
