Candies, envelopes, flowers - the standard faceless set on Teacher's Day. I would like to change the attitude of both parents and children to congratulating such an important person in life as a teacher. In this master class, together with your child, we will make a thematic postcard from scrap materials with our own hands.
We will need the following materials and tools:
- corrugated cardboard;
- mother-of-pearl cardboard;
- colored paper;
- sheets in a checkered or oblique line;
- remains of colored pencils;
- scissors;
- office stapler;
- ruler;
- transparent universal glue;
- pencil sharpener;
- ribbon.

We will need

Cut out an A5 size rectangle from corrugated cardboard.
Making the base of the postcard. We make a rectangle of pearl cardboard smaller than A5 format, reducing each side by 4-5 centimeters.

Making the base of the postcard

Glue the smaller rectangle onto the larger rectangle.

Glue the smaller rectangle

Let's make a notebook. We put two notebook sheets and a sheet of colored paper together and fasten them with a stapler.

We measure equal distances from the paper clips and cut with scissors in a straight line. We fold the notebook along the fastening line and cut off the excess.

We let the child make the pre-agreed inscriptions and congratulations.These could be numbers and examples for a mathematics teacher, formulas for physics and chemistry teachers, or a universal poem.

We collect and decorate the postcard. Apply glue to the back of the notebook cover and attach it to the base of the card.

Sharpen the remaining pencils

We sharpen the remaining pencils to a point on the lead. If the pencil is broken and the lead falls out when sharpening, it can be attached to the pencil with glue. Pencils can be sharpened on both sides.

Sharpen the remaining pencils

Glue the pencils in a chaotic order near the notebook using universal glue.

Teacher's Day card

We print the word “notebook” on colored cardboard, cut it out and glue it to the notebook a little above its middle.
We make a bow from a beautiful ribbon and glue it in the lower left corner of the card.

Most of the work can be done together with the child. Using the suggested materials and work methods, you will make individual cards for teachers. To do this, it is enough to change the combination of colors used and the content of the inscriptions in the notebooks.
Be original and have fun creating.
