Any ophthalmologist will tell you that working at a monitor in complete darkness is harmful to the eyes. For a long time, to avoid this, I worked with my desk lamp pointed at the wall. But at a certain moment it occurred to me that this was not economical and not very beautiful.

That's how the idea was born, the result of which is in the photo.

I decided not to bother with soldering LEDs and used LED I ordered a “stick” from an online store for 30 or 40 rubles, I don’t remember now.
For your implementation, you can use any similar device.

I secured it with zip ties to the holes in the bracket.

Depending on your monitor and the chosen lamp, you will have to come up with a mount. You can try double-sided tape. Alternatively, you can try screwing a couple of bolts into the holes and attaching to them. As a last resort, there is SUPER GLUE.

Power supply from Molex using a splitter (from another old cooler) (+12v yellow, ground black). The LED stick is powered by 12 volts.
