New Year's toys can be made using present to your close people and colleagues, attaching a wish for the whole next year. So, today we will make a New Year's decoration from felt, and it will be a pendant in the form of a small glove.
Take:
- Red and white felt in small quantities (depending on the size of the toy).
- Threads of matching colors (floss can be used).
- Paper pattern in the form of a glove.
- Thin satin ribbon 20 cm.
- Filler (sintepon).
- Decorative button.
- A small green heart cut out of felt.
Manufacturing process:
Cut out 2 glove pieces from red felt, leaving a small allowance at the top of the mitten.
Sew these parts together with white thread along the edge without sewing up the seam allowance.
Fill the mitten with padding polyester or holofiber.
Cut a strip of white wind, along one edge of which cut a wave, as shown in the photo.
Fold the glove allowance inward on both sides and sew a white stripe into the glove.
A green felt heart must be sewn to the middle (2-3 stitches).
Fold a piece of satin ribbon in half and sew it to one of the edges of the upper part of the mitten.
Sew a decorative button to the place where the ribbon was sewn. It could be a Christmas tree, a snowflake, or maybe a smiley like in the photo.
As a result, we got such a charming mitten - a toy that will definitely delight and warm you and your loved ones on cold winter days. The toy can be wrapped in transparent wrapping paper, tied with a festive ribbon and presented to colleagues or friends! Good luck to you!
