Superheroes, princesses, fairies and monsters are the main toys of modern children. Often, the price of such heroes is extremely inflated, or they are not on sale at all.
This master class tells you how to create a clothes hook figurine with your own hands in the form of your favorite hero (in this case, the Hulk), without spending money; everything you need for this is available in every home. It is made from salt dough. You need to ask your child to be patient, as the process of creating the figurine will take several days.
Prepare 2 tbsp for work. flour, 1 tbsp. salt, 3/4 tbsp. water, a plastic knife, paints (watercolor is also quite suitable), a brush, a simple pencil, transparent varnish. Draw or print your hero on A-4 paper.
Preparing the dough for modeling
Dissolve salt in water, mix with flour and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
On a piece of paper, trace the outline of the figure and fill it with dough.
First pinch off a small piece of dough and place a hook on it, cover with a second piece of dough on top.
In this case, the joints of the dough pieces should be lubricated with water for maximum gluing. You can take a simpler route - roll out the dough to a thickness of at least 5 mm, cut out a paper figure using a plastic knife, which often comes in a box with plasticine, and give it the most correct contour.
Why is it done on a piece of paper? Because during the drying process the paper will become deformed and you will get a textured figure. This is necessary in connection with the idea of getting a relief figurine of the Hulk. If you don’t have such a goal, then it’s better to do it on a metal sheet (to make the princess’s skirt fuller, use a thicker layer of dough in this place, like on the Hulk stone). Use the back of the brush to make holes for fastening.
Drying the workpiece
You can put the workpiece in the sun and dry it for at least 5 days, or you can use the oven. Bake at a temperature of 80 to 130 degrees Celsius for 2 hours. Tap the pan before finishing baking to ensure it is rock hard. After this, you need to remove the paper from the visible edges of the workpiece. Moreover, it is not necessary to tear off the reverse side; it will serve as the basis of the product and will not allow pieces to fly apart if broken. Sand the outline with fine sandpaper.
Coloring
Using a simple pencil we draw the contours of the panties and muscles. We paint the parts of the figure monochromatically in the desired colors. Dry. Then, using gentle strokes, add volume to the figure. Let's dry it. Draw the face, fingers and muscles on the body in black.
Let it dry. Cover with varnish.
