Every housewife wants her kitchen to be not only functional, but also beautiful. You can decorate your kitchen with hand-decorated items. So, to decorate your kitchen, you can make a bright set that will consist of a board and a jar. We will decorate both items using the technique decoupage.

- Wooden board.
- Glass jar.
- Acrylic paints.
- Sandpaper.
- Acetone and cotton wool.
- Synthetic brush.
- Palette knife.
- Putty.
- Stencils.
- Skewer.
- Printouts.
- PVA glue.
- Scotch.
- Acrylic lacquer.
Decoupage boards
1. At the first stage, it is necessary to prepare the surface of the board for further work. To do this, sand the board from the front side.
2. Prime the board with white acrylic paint in 2 layers. We sand each layer of paint.
3. Prepare the printout. To do this, cut out the picture along the contour.
4. Thinner the printout. At the same time, we turn the picture with the wrong side facing us and glue it with tape.
5. Smooth the tape with a plastic card.
6. Take the tape by the edge in any corner. Slowly remove the top layer of paper.
7. As a result, only a thin layer of paper with a picture remains.
8. Let's start gluing the picture. To do this, place the printout on a file with the picture down and moisten it with water.
9. Lubricate the surface of the board with glue. Then we attach the file with the picture to the board.
10. Smooth the picture onto the board and remove the file.
11. Cover the top of the picture with glue.
12. When the glue on the picture is completely dry, you can paint the edges of the board and paint on the background.
13. Apply a three-dimensional design to the board using a stencil. To do this, tint the putty blue and apply it through a stencil. decor.
14. At the end, we cover the entire work with acrylic varnish in several layers.
15. The kitchen board is ready!
Decoupage jars
1. Prepare the working surface of the jar. To do this, use acetone to degrease the jar and lid.
2. Prime the product with white acrylic paint.
3. Prepare 4 pictures to decorate the jar and 1 round picture to decorate the lid. We cut the printouts to fit the sides of the jar and thin them out.
4. Glue pictures with a cat on all sides of the jar.
5. Glue a round picture with flowers to the center of the lid.
6. Next, paint the putty blue. Then we apply putty to the jar around the pictures. Then we make a random pattern on the putty using a wooden skewer.
7. We also decorate the lower part of the lid with putty.
8. When the putty has dried, apply blue paint to the three-dimensional elements of the can using the “dry brush” method.
9. We also darken the bottom of the lid with blue paint. We draw the top edge around the picture in blue, and then lighten it a little with white acrylic.
10. Finally, coat the jar with varnish.
11. Decorating the jar is complete!
The kitchen set is ready for use!
