Sometimes, to convert energy from alternative sources, a homemade generator with certain parameters is required. It would seem almost impossible to do it yourself, but if you really look at things, then there is nothing particularly difficult here. Now you will see how easy it is to make a homemade generator without magnetic sticking at a voltage of 50 V.
How to make a generator
The first step is to make a rotor. Our generator will be made on permanent magnets, according to the simplest circuit without excitation windings.
On a lathe, we first make a cylinder from any plastic for the existing neodymium magnets.
Drill a hole in the center for the shaft.
And on the sides we mill grooves for magnets.
The rotor assembly kit is ready:
We glue the magnets into the grooves with superglue. We install according to polarity in a checkerboard pattern.
Insert the shaft.
Now you need to make the body and coils. All this is made from PVC pipe. The material is plastic and cuts and processes very well.
The semicircular element is covered with tape. Next you will understand why.
Then a groove is cut in the middle with a utility knife.
At this point the cattle are removed.
The partition is glued in.
Next, the partition is glued to one of the walls of the generator housing.
You need two such elements, corresponding to the number of coils. Let's start winding them. We take a wire with a thickness of 0.2 mm.
We wind 1200 turns onto the resulting frame and fix it with glue. We saturate the entire coil with glue.
Next, the semicircular plate bows.
It turned out to be two coils. We solder the wires and insulate them with heat shrink.
We assemble the generator. Glue the coils onto the base.
Next, a hole for the bearings was drilled in the front and rear walls.
We install.
And glue the back wall first. We connect the coils in series with each other.
Then we install the rotor and glue the front wall.
Let's check. Even with the slightest twist Light-emitting diode flashes brightly.
We turn the generator with a drill. And we measure the voltage.
It produces about 50-60 V. This is quite enough to light a 3 W LED lamp.
We connect a 100 W LED matrix through a rectifier bridge. Burns great.
