1. Wall parallel cable mount
To attach two wires in parallel to the wall, you need to drill a hole and install a regular dowel in it.
We insert a self-tapping screw with a washer into it. Do not tighten the self-tapping screw all the way, and insert two ties into the hole in the washer.
After this we tighten the self-tapping screw. Then we fix the cable with these ties.
2. Pulling cables in cavities
To pull the cable through the cavity, you need to attach a neodymium magnet to the cord. Next, we insert it into the cavity, pulling it with a second magnet. Having pulled out a light cord, you can already tie a cable to it, and then pull it through too.
3. Modification of the tape measure with a magnet
If you place a small neodymium magnet on the tip of the measuring tape, it will be easier to work with it when measuring metal structures. Not only will you not have to hold the edge of the tape, but the magnet will allow you to pull it without sagging, without tearing it off the surface.
4. Marking with masking tape
If you need to make markings on a surface that a pencil or marker cannot write on, simply stick masking tape on top. You can mark using it. This is very convenient, since the tape can then be easily removed, leaving a clean surface.
5. Alternative to cable lugs
Solder can be used instead of cable lugs. We're just tinning the stripped vein. After this, it will clamp much more reliably in the terminal.
6. An easy way to thread a needle
To quickly and easily thread a needle, take a thin wire from the stranded cable core. Fold it in half and insert the double end into the eye of the needle. It is easy to grab the thread with this loop and pull it through the needle.
