If you have back pain, digging up your garden by hand with a shovel turns into torture. Having a problem with the spine, such work must be performed with special shovels. When using them, the back remains straight, since only the legs and arms are used.

It is advisable to use a wide steering wheel. It is optimal to weld the pipe with the steering stem in order to maintain the ability to adjust the tilt, like on a bicycle.
Next, the pipe with the steering wheel is welded to the side edge of the shovel. The length of such a cutting should be calculated according to the height of the person for whom it is being made. A 20 mm rod is used to connect the pipe and shovel. It is partially inserted into the pipe and welded to it, and the side of the shovel is welded to it. This is an important point. If a shovel is made for a right-handed person, then welding is performed on the left side, and for a left-handed person on the right. The handle is welded so that the steering wheel is turned the other way around.
To center the tool, it is necessary to extend the rod with a thin steel pin 10 cm long. The edge of the rod should be sharpened.
To use a tilt shovel, you must first dig the first row with a tilt shovel. After this, the digging is done with its help, only from the side. The tool is driven deeper with the foot and rotated to the side on an axis, turning the earth over.
Using a bunch of two shovels, you can dig up your area without ever bending your back. Of course, when working in this way, your arms become strained, but muscle fatigue is many times easier to bear than pain in the spine.
