When making reinforced concrete products, it is very important to use screenings or sand of the same fraction, so it must be re-screened to remove large inclusions. The easiest and fastest way to do this is on a vibrating sieve, which you can do yourself.
Materials:
- electric motor from a washing machine;
- profile pipe 20x20 mm;
- strip 40 mm;
- masonry mesh;
- fine mesh metal mesh;
- springs from the rear shock absorbers of the motorcycle - 4 pcs.;
- wooden slats 20x20 mm;
- thin sheet steel or tin.
Vibrating sieve manufacturing process
A frame is welded from a profile pipe to mount a sieve of the required size.
The masonry mesh is welded to it.
Wooden slats are screwed to the frame from the inside.
From a profile pipe you need to weld a mount for mounting an electric motor with sieve stands.
The engine is screwed on. An eccentric in the form of a flag is installed on its shaft to unbalance during rotation.
Then the motor must be covered with a casing. You can simply screw on a salad bowl or pan of a suitable size.
The sieve frame is welded to the motor mounting posts.
The table frame is welded from profile pipes.
Springs are welded to it at the corners, and the frame is already welded to them, but at an angle. For this, spacers from the corner are used.
Sides made of strips are welded on the sides and top of the sieve frame. 2 diagonals are welded to the table frame, directed in the opposite direction from the slope of the sieve. A jumper is welded between them. Then the tin is attached to the resulting sheathing.
A metal mesh with a fine mesh is installed on the sieve frame.
She needs a stapler to the slats. Now, when the engine starts, the sieve will vibrate, so screenings or sand thrown onto it can fall down, and large particles will be thrown to the side.
