Holes appear between the legs of the jeans on either side of the center seam, which, although they look terrible, can be repaired. If you have a sewing machine, then this will not be difficult at all. The abrasions on jeans sewn up using the proposed method will be invisible.
Materials:
- threads to match the jeans;
- doublerin.
Pants repair process
The jeans are turned inside out and the edges of the hole are smoothed with an iron.
Next, you need to bring the flaps together to remove the gap between them. If necessary, the edges can be secured with pins.
Patches slightly larger than the holes are cut out of dublerin. They are applied with the adhesive side to the inside of the jeans and smoothed with an iron. If the edges of the hole do not come together, then they can first be fixed with thin strips of dublerin one at a time. After this, a large common fastening flap is glued on top.
The glued pants are turned inside out and sewn on the front side with tight zigzags in the direction of the fabric pattern.
If you wear repaired jeans, the stitched area between the legs will not be noticeable at all. Firstly, it is not visible from above, and secondly, dense stitches with matching thread visually hide roughness.
