Those who tried to place a magnetic contact on the welding ground could appreciate its convenience, but also encountered the disadvantages of such a device. It constantly collects metal shavings, and it is difficult to tear it off if the magnet does not provide a comfortable handle. An electromagnet has all the advantages of such a contact, but it is devoid of the described disadvantages. This device is very easy to make, so anyone can make it.

You need to remove the control board from it. It is important to remember the sequence of wires on it. They are stripped and twisted in pairs: the first and third, the second and fourth. There are also locks with only two wires; with them everything is even simpler.

A hole is drilled in the center of the electromagnet on the back side and a thread is cut into it. Then the ground cable from welding is screwed to it.
