To make it convenient to work in the workshop, you need to properly organize the workplace and storage of tools. You can start arranging it by making a wall stand for grinders. It is convenient to store angle grinders, as well as cutting, grinding, flap discs and other equipment.

Materials:

  • steel strip 50 mm and 100 mm;
  • reinforcement 10 mm;
  • round rod 8 mm;
  • dye.

Rack manufacturing process

First you need to decide on the width of the rack. It depends on the number and size of grinders available. The easiest way is to clamp a 50 mm strip in a vice and hang the tool on it to clearly determine the width.

The required piece is cut from the strip, but 100 mm longer.

Its 50 mm edges must be bent at a right angle to obtain a bracket.

From a strip 100 mm wide you need to cut a piece of the same length as the resulting bracket. For aesthetics, you can cut off the corners along one edge, but this is not necessary.

Then 3 holes are visible in the workpiece. One in the center for hanging the wrench, the rest on the sides for hanging cutting discs.

The bracket and the top strip must be connected with racks of reinforcement, laying out all the parts on a flat base. The distance between the parallel elements should be sufficient so that the grinders, discs and key do not interfere with each other.

Hooks from a rod are welded into the holes on the top strip. They need to be slightly bent so that nothing falls off them.

The edges at the ends of the hooks must be ground down. 2 holes are drilled in the rack along the edges to screw it to the wall.

Finally, it is painted.
