During the summer holidays, many parents are concerned with the question: what to do with their children on the road. One of the necessary things on a long trip is a table for a car seat.

With its help, the baby can eat, play and draw. The stores offer many models of different colors, with pockets and even a compartment for a smartphone. However, they have one thing in common: they are made from a hard sheet of chipboard or plastic, which can seriously injure a child in the event of an accident. What should parents do in this case?

Spend a little time replacing the base with a softer and safer option. In any hardware store you can buy a small sheet of thermal insulation for about a hundred rubles.

How to make a safe children's table on a car seat with your own hands

First, carefully rip open one of the sides of the table without sides and pull out the cardboard.

Cut 2 soft foil sheets to its size and glue them together if necessary.

Insert the resulting workpiece inside the table.

Sew the edge by hand or using a sewing machine.

A safe and convenient device for the car is ready.

It holds its shape enough to perform its function, but at the same time bends in any direction and cannot injure the child.
