Shredder manufacturing process
The manufacture of the chopper should begin with assembling the frame for mounting the engine. For ease of loading grass in the future, it should be located low and sloping. To do this, legs are welded from a corner. The front ones are located vertically, and the building is at an angle of 45 degrees. The engine is screwed to the frame using its standard mount.
A steel plate required for mounting the grinding chamber is welded onto the motor housing. Holes are drilled in its corners. A flywheel made of sheet steel with two ribs in the form of strips must be attached to the engine shaft. These blades are needed to create turbulence and blow the chopped grass out of the chopper. A rotor is installed at the end of the shaft.It is a pulley or disk with blades screwed on from a tractor mower.
The cylindrical body of the grinding chamber is made from a large-diameter pipe, a barrel, or is bent and welded from sheet steel. 4 lugs are welded to it at the bottom to secure it to the plate on the motor. On the side, opposite the rotor, a window is cut out to eject the chopped grass. From the inside, 2 air flow guides are welded into the cylindrical body. They will increase the turbulence necessary to eject the chaff.
Thin galvanized steel needs to be rolled up and riveted into a cylinder. This removable extension will make throwing grass much easier.
Such a chopper will allow you to process grass into mulch or raw materials for a compost pit. It can also be used to prepare hay and straw for the production of adobe.
