One of the most budget-friendly options for fencing a personal or summer cottage is a mesh fence. Its construction does not require welding, special skills or expensive tools are not required. To begin with, using twine, a line is drawn along which the fence will be built, and on it the places for installing the posts. The distance between the posts should be 2.5-3.0 m. As posts, you can use a 40x40 mm profile pipe, or a round pipe of at least two inches in diameter. Old pipes, which can be purchased inexpensively at a scrap metal collection point, are also suitable for posts. The columns are concreted to a depth no less than the freezing depth of the soil; for the middle zone this is about half a meter.

Let's start tensioning the chain-link fence

The cheapest means of holding the mesh taut is a cable. A metal-polymer cable protected from oxidation will last longer.

To insert the cable into the posts, holes are made in them using a drill at the selected height.

Depending on the height of the mesh, two or three cables are needed in height.Using a special clamp, the cable is fixed to the outermost post.

After this, you can unwind the mesh. By the way, you can also extend the life of the fence by using a wire mesh in a plastic braid.

After unwinding the mesh and placing it between the posts, a cable is pulled through the cells at the intended height.

The cable is inserted into the holes on the posts.

After inserting the cable, it is tensioned and fixed on the last post with a clamp, just like on the first.

That's all, the fence is ready.
