You can install a sliding screen under a wide sink cabinet or the bath itself and make a simple cabinet. Unlike conventional facades, it does not protrude when opened, so it is not interfered with by the surrounding furniture and plumbing. This solution is practical and budget-friendly, and at the same time looks quite decent. Such screens can be bought ready-made, but it’s even cheaper to make them yourself from PVC panels in just 1 hour.

To make a screen, you need to assemble a frame from an external corner or plinth profile.
To do this, the workpieces are cut to size and sawed along the edges at 45 degrees.
Then the same parts are cut from the starting profile.
The strips from the baseboard and the starting profile must be glued together to obtain a two-layer workpiece.We need to get a frame with two tracks, one for each screen front.
The upper frame blank is glued in place. If possible, you can screw it on. The side frame posts are also secured. We don't touch the bottom one yet.
The bottom bar is attached for measurements. You need to measure the distance between the grooves of the frame and cut the panels along it. This is easily done with a mounting knife or a hacksaw.
The prepared panels need to be divided in half and glued together with locks into 2 facades. Furniture handles are installed on the edges of the doors.
After this, you need to pull out the loose lower profile and install the facades into the frame. After this, it is glued or screwed.
That's it, the screen is ready for use.
Each door slides along its own path, so they do not interfere with each other.
