It is very convenient when hardware is stored sorted by size in one place, then you don’t have to look for it for a long time. To do this, you can use organizers of various designs. One of the most convenient is the proposed homemade version made from PVC pipes, which is easy to repeat.

Materials:

  • PVC pipe 110 mm;
  • plugs 110 mm – 2 pcs.;
  • plugs 90 mm – 4 pcs.;

Organizer manufacturing process

To make the organizer body, you will need a piece of PVC pipe with a diameter of 110 mm and a length of 250 mm. The ends of the workpiece are aligned. After that, you need to cut a window in it for 4 smaller plugs with allowance for the gap between them.

Door hinges are installed on 90 mm plugs using blind rivets.

Now you need to secure them in the body with rivets. The result is trays for storing hardware. Large plugs are put on the body itself.

Now we measure the distance between the large plugs, and prepare a blank from a 110 mm pipe for it. It is cut lengthwise.

One half is glued on the back side to the body, and the second is installed on the hinges so as to act as a door for access to the trays.

The rivets on the door will protrude from the inside, preventing it from closing. Therefore, the plastic is drilled opposite them.

Install a handle on the top of the organizer.

If desired, the organizer can be painted.

Thus, we get 5 storage compartments, since hardware can also be stored on the bottom of the case.
