A common situation is when a washing machine, after several years of normal operation, begins to vibrate more and more during the spin cycle. Over time, everything gets worse so much that it literally jumps, moving tens of centimeters from its installation site. This malfunction is relatively easy to fix with your own hands, so when it occurs, it is not necessary to call a specialist.

- zero sandpaper.
The process of eliminating vibration when spinning a washing machine
If the legs of the washing machine are adjusted correctly and it stands stable, then the reason for its jumps during the spin cycle is in the shock absorbers. The problem is solved by their maintenance. To do this, first you need to use a screwdriver to pry up the panel at the bottom of the machine under the laundry loading door. It must be removed to open the drain hole. The plug is unscrewed from it.You need to drain the remaining water from the machine into a low container placed under the hole.
After draining the water, the machine must be turned upside down.
This will provide access to the shock absorbers.
To service them, you need to unscrew them on one side from the machine body, and on the other from the drum.
The rods are removed from the dismantled shock absorbers. You just need to pull them. The rods pulled out from the flasks must be inspected.
They should be smooth. If this is not the case, then the rust is removed with sandpaper so as not to scratch the metal mirror. Then the rods are lubricated with lithol.
The anointed rods are returned back to the flask.
The shock absorbers should then compress and expand more smoothly with less force. Now if you put them back in the machine, there will be no more jumps during the spin cycle.
In this way, almost all shock absorbers can be restored, of course, if they are not rusty at all, then it is better to replace them.
