Any housewife regularly faces the problem of dirty non-stick cookware. During the cooking process, carbon deposits form inside and outside pots and pans, and grease stains appear that need to be removed.

The peculiarity of non-stick cookware implies a certain method of cleaning dirt. Unknowingly, you can damage the coating and even ruin the dishes. How to clean grease and carbon deposits on non-stick frying pans and saucepans in a simple, gentle way?

Required:

  • 1 lemon;
  • table salt;
  • 9% table vinegar;
  • protective gloves;
  • sponge for washing dishes.

How to clean the surface of a frying pan from carbon deposits?

To avoid damaging the skin of your hands before cleaning a frying pan or pot, wear protective gloves. Cut the lemon in half and rub one part onto the dirty surface of the frying pan from the inside. Squeeze the juice from the lemon periodically to make rubbing the surface easier.

If there is too much dirt, then a second part of the lemon may be required.Leave the lemon-rubbed frying pan for a while, then wash off the resulting dirt with water. If carbon deposits and grease come off poorly, the procedure can be repeated again. It is important that there are no seeds in the lemon, which can scratch the surface.

To clean the outside of the pan, pour a thick layer of salt onto the bottom of the pan and pour vinegar on top. These two components soften carbon deposits and grease, and the dirt will come off well.

Rub the surface of the pan with a hard sponge, then rinse with water.

It is difficult to completely clean the dirt the first time.

So repeat this step again: pour salt into the bottom of the pan, pour in the vinegar and now leave for 30 minutes. After this, rinse the pan under running water. To clean the most contaminated areas of the dishes, you can leave the vinegar-salt solution for 40-45 minutes.

For more heavily soiled items, clean the dishes with salt and vinegar several times.

This method of cleaning carbon deposits and grease from non-stick cookware is most applicable to new frying pans and pots that have minor stains. But even if you have been using a frying pan for many years, you can bring the dishes back to their original form within a few times.
