Manufacturing process of digital coded door latch
On one of the faces of three standard nuts of the required size, mark the centers and drill radial holes.
On one end of the rod of the required length, which freely fits into the threaded holes of the nuts, we weld a washer, the outer diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the rod.

We put an eye and three nuts on the rod. We insert a marker sequentially into the holes of the nuts, and pressing them against the washer, we draw three belts on the rod.
Using a circular saw, we make grooves of a certain depth along the belts.
We draw a longitudinal line from the ring along the transverse grooves and, using a circular saw, cut a triangular groove along the rod to the depth of the transverse grooves.
We cut off the head of the iron nail, drill holes in the nuts to its diameter. We insert the pre-sharpened end of the nail in the shape of the grooves and grooves on the rod into the hole and weld it there. Cut the nail flush with the outer surface of the nut edge.
We repeat the described process for all three nuts.
We successively thread an eye, three nuts and a second eye onto the rod. We install the resulting assembly with the legs of the lugs on a rectangular plate and weld the first lug. Using screws through the holes in the rectangular plate and the counter part, we screw them respectively to the door frame post and the door leaf.
Having set the pre-selected three-digit code, we move the rod (crossbar) until its end enters the hole of the mating part. After changing the code, the door is securely closed. To open it, just dial the selected code and move the rod to the left.
