1. How to tighten a threaded rod flush

Due to this, it can be grabbed with a screwdriver or screwdriver.

This trick will be especially useful when using a hairpin as a pin or in production furniture.

2. Plastic cutter

To make a cutter for cutting plastic, you will need a blade from a mounting knife. We clamp it in a vice and cut out a thin shank on it. We leave only the first segment intact.

After this, the modified blade is clamped into an electric soldering iron instead of the standard tip.

Now we wait until it warms up and cut the plastic as easily as butter.

3. DIY decorative gypsum tiles from plasterboard

Decorative tiles can be made from drywall scraps. To do this, mark bricks of the required size on it.Then we cut them out in rows. After this, we make cuts on one side between the tiles of the row.

Now we seal the gypsum putty and tint it with paint color. You need to make a fairly thick mass and apply it to the workpiece in a thin layer using a spatula.

There is no need to smooth the putty perfectly. Then, using the corner of a spatula, apply the mark in any direction. We immediately remove any plaster deposits on the corners.

After the putty has dried, all that remains is to break the tiles along the previously made cuts and cut off the cardboard on the back side. Finally, all that remains is to straighten them around the perimeter with sandpaper or sanding mesh. After this decor pasted on the walls.

4. Simple alcohol candle

To make a liquid fuel candle, you will need an aluminum soda or beer can. The lower part, about 5 cm high, is cut off. Alcohol or other flammable liquid is poured into the resulting glass.

Then cover the glass with foil and crimp it to form a lid. After that, we punch it in the center and insert a wick of thread or cord into the hole. It will instantly become saturated with liquid, so it will ignite easily, and will burn over the foil until the fuel runs out.

5. Homemade drywall drill for large holes

To make a drill, take a screw with a ring and attach a nut to it. Then we put on two washers, place a couple of segments of the mounting knife blade between them, and screw on the second nut.

Then we drill the drywall in the center of the future large hole, and insert it into the bolt, holding it with a nut. Be sure to place washers on both sides.

This bolt is used as an axis to rotate the ring screw. Its blade will cut through the cardboard, after which you need to do the same on the back side and knock out the cut out part. The diameter of the hole can be adjusted by moving the blade away from the ring in the desired direction.
