Many modern chemicals for cleaning dishes do not cope with their purpose. It’s even worse when chemicals spoil the dishes, scratch the surface and leave an odor. And the folk remedies that our mothers and grandmothers used to clean dishes do not always remove dirt and residue.

What's the best way to clean a dirty pan? Folk method or chemistry? Let's conduct an experiment and find out which option is better.

Required:

  • two dirty frying pans.

for folk remedy:

  • 3 tbsp. soda;
  • 1 tsp dishwashing detergent;
  • 2 tsp hydrogen peroxide.

for other cleaning methods:

  • Cleaner for pipes “Chistin Stok”;
  • Sanitol oven cleaner;
  • “Shumanit” grease remover.

Clean the pan from carbon deposits and choose the best product

Place tape in the center of the two pans to divide the area for using different products.

First, let's clean the bottom of the pan with a folk remedy. To do this, mix baking soda, dish detergent and hydrogen peroxide in a bowl. Mix the ingredients.

You will get a thick, white mass. Apply a thick layer of it to the dirty surface and leave for a while.

Apply Sanitol oven cleaner to the other half of the pan and leave for a while.

Apply ChisTin Stok pipe cleaner to the bottom of the second frying pan. Pour Schumanite grease remover onto the other half. You need to be careful with this product. You can't inhale it.

All cleaning products should work, so leave them on the surface of the pans for 1 hour.

After a while, rinse with water and look at the result.

A folk remedy consisting of baking soda, detergent and hydrogen peroxide does the job perfectly and cleans the surface. There is no chemical smell. Sanitol also perfectly cleans the surface, but it is a strong remedy. It can corrode wooden and plastic surfaces. Therefore, before cleaning the dishes, place a tray under them.

"Chistin Stok" cleans the surface well, but still minor contamination remains. You have to additionally scrub with a hard sponge. “Shumanit” cleans the surface of the frying pan as well as a folk remedy. But it emits an unpleasant chemical odor and costs several times more.

It’s up to you to decide which product to use to clean soot and dirt from a frying pan.
