We take the bolt and sharpen two planes on its edge. Then we drill through it. Now we screw the bolt where necessary and pass the cable through the hole. To fix the latter, tighten the nut.
8. How to protect the socket body from paint
To avoid staining an outlet or switch when painting walls, apply masking tape around its circumference. Then trim the corners of the resulting frame. This allows you to roll up the tape, thereby covering the plastic housing of the socket.
9. Rivet from a tube
The rivet can be obtained from a thin tube.
We put its segment on the nail and tighten it with a rivet gun.
The tube will be deformed, and the nail can then be removed.
