Many life hacks allow you to get out of the difficult situation associated with the lack of the necessary set of tools or materials. This collection contains just such advice. They are all very simple and easy.

1. “Third hand” for soldering using pliers

If you don't have a third hand for soldering, you can use pliers. We fix the part with them, and then clamp them in a vice.

This will make soldering much more convenient.

2. Device for stripping wires from insulation

We take a small strip and screw the blade of a mounting knife to it. Then we drill through it a little further.

Now we insert the wire into the through opening, and pressing the blade against it, we cut through the insulation. All that remains is to turn the wiring in a circle, and then rip off the remaining insulation.

3. Joining the profile for drywall

To connect two profiles, we make cuts along the edges from the end of one of them. Then the second profile overlaps perfectly with it.

All that remains is to drill them and install the rivets.

4. Hanger for packages in the car

Take a long M6 pin and bend it in half. Then in a vice we bend the edges of the part, as in the photo.

We screw cap nuts onto the edges of the stud. After this, we hook the hanger to the headrest. Now you can hook packages onto it from the rear seat.

5. How to use a short clamp when gluing edges to the end

If you need to glue a strip or edge to the end of a large part, but only have a clamp, it’s not a problem. We glue the parts together, and then install a clamp on the main one. We drive a long wedge into the gap between them.

6. Installation of a union nut on a PP pipe

To install a union nut on the PP pipe, heat the end of the first one on the plane of the soldering iron. We wait for a slight melting, and then we tear off the pipe. As a result, at the edge you get a skirt into which the nut rests perfectly.

7. Nail holder

We take a piece of PP pipe and cut a small groove on its walls from the end. Then we insert a magnet of a suitable diameter into the tube. Now you can hold nails with this tube.

8. Repairing cracks in wooden parts

When gluing cracks in wooden pieces, the glue inside can be distributed using a thread. This way you can lubricate all surfaces.

9. Protect the sandpaper from tearing

To prevent the sandpaper from tearing when bent, simply seal it on the back side with tape. Reinforced tape is especially good at this.

10. Installing a vacuum cleaner in woodworking machines

If your machine does not provide for connecting a vacuum cleaner, then simply drill through its protective casing. Insert the hose into the resulting hole and turn on the vacuum cleaner. This way all the shavings and sawdust will be immediately sucked in.
