We remove the spindle control handle with the driver from the drilling machine and drill a blind hole of the required diameter and depth in the end.We cut a blank of the required length from the rod with an external thread, half of which, after lubricating the thread with glue, we screw into the hole of the handle.
Insert a plastic sleeve into the bicycle brake handle clamp and tighten the coupling bolt. We secure the handle to the threaded rod so that it is located on the opposite side of the leash by screwing and tightening the plastic handle with a threaded hole in the front.
We install the spindle control handle with the bicycle brake handle mounted on it back to the drilling machine.
We take the cable out of the protective braiding, which we cut to size, and pass the cable through it again.
We cut out two bars from multi-layer plywood, and drill a hole in one in the center closer to one edge. Lubricate the smaller end of the block without a hole with glue and glue it to the block with the hole. We reinforce the gluing area with two screws.
We attach a shorter block to the end of the block without a hole using a furniture hinge. Using self-hardening plastic, we attach a block with a hole on top of the drill handle above the button to turn it on so that the lower block is under the button.
We attach one end of the cable to the bicycle brake handle, and pass the other end from above through the hole in the block and then attach it to the end of the block under the button using a plate and two screws.
When you press the brake handle, the cable turns the block around the axis of the loop, which presses on the drill's power button. The convenience is obvious: we turn on the drill with one hand and control the spindle.
