Cheerful giraffe

Cheerful giraffe is great present child and a wonderful piece of interior decor. We all loved toys as children. They were different for everyone, but everyone liked to play them. Very often you want to use your favorite decoration toys in your interior. To make such an object not only bright, but also unusual, you can make it yourself. In this article, you will learn how to knit a giraffe, which will always cheer you up.

What you will need:
- Threads. The giraffe is spotted, so you will need to use yellow yarn for the base and orange for the spots. The paws will be black, which means plus black yarn and white thread for the eyes and inserts on the ears.
- Sintepon for stuffing.
- Needle and thread to sew all the details.



I decided to show you how to tie paws. They will be combined - the bottom is black, and the leg itself is yellow-orange. In addition, the rest of the details fit together more easily.
We start with an amigurumi loop so that the padding polyester does not peek through an unattractive hole.



We knit three rows with an extension.



Then we stop expanding and knit two rows up to make a “hat”.



After this, you need to narrow it a little so that the paw is not just round, but slightly elongated. Therefore, we narrow the next three rows, subtracting 2-3 columns from each.



So that the foot smoothly turns into a spotted leg, we knit two more rows in an unusual way and without expansion or contraction. We knit half of each row with regular single crochets, and the second half, which will be the heel at the end of the foot, we knit with double crochets. In this way we will stretch the heel and bend it upward, which will make the foot complete and the transition to the spotted foot smooth. Attach the yellow thread.



The whole secret of spotted knitting is that yellow and orange threads must be alternated in a chaotic order, so that small spots of a different color appear on the main color.



When the leg is of sufficient length, in your opinion, it should be thoroughly stuffed with padding polyester. It should be quite firm, but don't overdo it or it will become hard. The result is a leg like this.



We make the same three more legs.



All we have to do is knit a ball that will become in the summer, small ears, horns and a tail, and a head and neck. The head consists of an oval nose, a circle and a long neck like a leg. When everything is ready, sew all the parts and you're done.



This giraffe will decorate any room and will become a fun toy for every child.
