First you need to prepare the necessary materials to create a flower:
- corrugated paper in two tones: bright green and scarlet.
- scissors.
- a piece of wire 15 cm long.
- sewing thread.
- a small piece of cotton wool or padding polyester.
Making a flower.
From the prepared scarlet paper, cut out 12 identical parts, from which the petals for the flower will be created. The size of these blanks should be 7x9 cm. It is important to ensure that the parts are smooth and the corrugated lines run parallel to the short side, otherwise, as a result of creating the flower too far, the petals will become crooked and ugly.
Next you need to cut two corners on the long side of the part, marking the line of the upper edge of the petal.

Now you should take the wire and make a small curl at one end. Since the wire will be the stem of the flower, thanks to this curl the bud will hold firmly in place. Next, you need to place the prepared wire on one scarlet piece, placing the curl in the center.A small amount of cotton wool or padding polyester should be placed on top of the wire.
Now you need to alternately wrap the centrally located cotton wool and wire with the two upper edges of the part. First you need to wrap the right side towards the middle.
Next you should repeat the addition, but from the left edge.
Now the volume obtained below must be carefully and tightly twisted around the wire and tied with sewing thread to secure it. The result is a voluminous core for the flower.
After this, around the made center you need to attach all the remaining scarlet parts one by one. They need to be secured with sewing thread.
Next, you need to carefully straighten all the petals in their center and especially straighten them along the edge.
Next you need to cut out one rectangle from bright green paper. Its dimensions are 7x19 cm.
After this, several large cloves need to be cut along one of its long sides.
Now each point made in the upper part needs to be twisted once with your fingers.
This part now needs to be wrapped around the made bud and tightly tied with wire, securing it to the flower.
Next, you need to make an oblique strip from the remaining bright green paper. It should be cut at an angle of 45 degrees so that it stretches well and lies flat when working. Its length should be at least 20 cm. Now this strip must be wrapped around the entire stem of the flower to cover the wire. You need to start wrapping from the base of the bud, carefully stretching it and continue until the end of the wire. After this, the color petals can be straightened again.
