An original handmade postcard will perfectly emphasize not only an important event, but also the fact that you care about the person. A watercolor card will be a wonderful addition to a gift. It’s very easy to make, you only need to stock up on free time and the necessary materials. The following materials are needed for the postcard:
•Two sheets of watercolor paper,
•Colored paper or scrapbooking paper,
•Pencil,
•Gel pen,
•Glue,
•Watercolor,
•Brush.
1.Fold a sheet of watercolor paper in half.

2. Using thin lines, draw a “cartoon” cat in the lower corner with a pencil.

3. Paint the cat with black (or gray) watercolors.

4.Cut out circles from scrap paper, shaped like balloons.

5.Glue the “balls”.
Watercolor card

6. Using a gel pen, draw the cat and the strings from the balloons. The lines may be uneven, this will give the postcard originality.

7. Inside the circles we draw the outline and “tails” of the balls.

8.Cut out a rectangle from watercolor paper. We cut off the corners and write a word of congratulations.

9. Cut out small rectangles measuring 1x2 cm from watercolor paper.

10.Fold the rectangles in half and glue them together.
Watercolor card

11.Attach the rectangles to the sheet with the inscription.

12. Apply glue to the rectangles and glue the sheet with the inscription to the postcard. This results in a volumetric element.

13.The finishing touch is to paint the cat’s blush with red watercolors. The postcard is ready!
