Felt Easter egg

Creative people strive to show their imagination when preparing for the holidays. What kind of material are Easter eggs made from: wood, fabric, satin ribbons. The classic color is red, but all colors of the rainbow are acceptable. Why not sew an Easter egg from felt that also stands on a surface? Felt allows you to create crafts of any complexity, since it is a malleable material. Finishing parts can not only be sewn, but also glued. A felt Easter egg is a great way to decorate your interior for the holiday.
Materials:
• Thin felt; one sheet of any color is enough to make an egg. For finishing details in the form of flowers, small pieces of felt of different colors are used.
• Synthetic padding or padding polyester.
• Thin wool or cotton threads.
Progress:
1. First you need to cut out the details of the paper pattern. In this case, the egg consists of three parts, but four can be used.

2. The paper pattern is placed on a sheet of felt, three parts of the egg are cut out without allowances. The bottom is one piece.

3. The egg parts are sequentially folded together and stitched on a sewing machine. The top should be rounded, only the bottom remains open, all other sides should be stitched.

4. The egg is turned right side out and straightened out. Then it is stuffed with synthetic fluff.


5. The bottom is sewn on with hand stitches using an overlock stitch. As a result, the egg stands steadily on the surface.


6. The overcast seam can be covered with flowers; they are cut out from felt in different colors and sewn just above the overlock seam line. If desired, flowers can be glued over the entire surface of the egg.
