To squeeze juice out of large quantities of apples, pears, plums, peaches, apricots or grapes, you need a press. They can process hundreds of kilograms of fruit in a matter of hours. For greater results, you need to load crushed fruits into it. Let's look at how you can make a 2 in 1 juicer that can simultaneously crush fruit puree and squeeze the juice out of it to dry pulp.

Juicer manufacturing process
The frame of the juicer is welded from a profile pipe and channel.
Its height should allow you to insert a large tank inside and place a jack on top of it. An extension is made at the bottom of the frame or a sheet steel base is welded so that the frame stands stable.In the upper channel of the frame, in the bottom center, you need to make a slide to hang the jack from.
A large pressing tank is installed at the bottom of the frame. The example uses a 72 liter stainless steel container. On top of it on the side you need to attach a smaller tank with a volume of 8-10 liters, in which the fruit will be crushed. A support from a profile pipe is welded for it. The tank itself is installed on it temporarily for fittings, as it still requires modifications.
On the side of the suspended tank there is a mount for the crusher motor.
To do this, a hinge is made from a pipe and a stud, and a plate is welded to it.
The mount is welded into the frame, and the motor is suspended from it with the pulley down. The old tie rod is installed between the tank support and the plate. This will allow you to tighten the crusher belt. Also at this stage you can connect the power wire to the motor and install the switch.
A small window is drilled below in the wall of the smaller container, and a visor is welded over it.
This is necessary so that in the future the fruit puree falls strictly into a large tank. A hole is drilled in the center of the bottom of the container. On the reverse side, a piece of pipe is welded around its circumference, and a bearing is pressed into it. Then 2 knives for crushing are cut from stainless steel.
They are welded or screwed crosswise onto the shaft, and it is inserted into the bottom of the tank. At the exit, a pulley is put on it, secured with a key and tightened with a nut through a washer. The washer can be bent down so that the nut does not unscrew. The pulley must be pulled out so that when installing the tank on the support, it is opposite the motor pulley.
The crusher tank is installed in place. The belt is tensioned between the pulleys using a tie rod.
A fitting is welded into the bottom of a large tank, then a ball valve is screwed onto it.
A pair of gratings for the bottom of the press are made from oak lath. You also need to make a cylinder from the slats inside the tank. To do this, they can be connected to each other by screwing them onto a metal strip. The cover for the jack stop is also made from the same rail.
If the crusher tank you are using is not high, you can extend it with a removable funnel so that the puree does not fly into your face during crushing.
A polypropylene bag is installed inside the spin tank. Then the crusher is turned on and fruit is poured into it until it crushes a full bag of puree. Then it is rolled up and laid over with a lattice. The next bag is installed on it if the tank is not full.
After filling the tank, the last bag is also screwed on and a lid is placed on top of it.
Then it is pressed down with the jack.
If its height is not enough to completely squeeze out the cake, you need to place an oak block between it and the lid.
When the tank is filled, the tap opens and the juice is drained into a nearby bucket. Then the jack is unclenched, the cake is shaken out of the bags and the cycle is repeated.
This juicer is very productive.
When the crusher is equipped with a 2.2 kW motor, crushing one bucket of apples in it takes 30 seconds. It is not difficult to wash. After use, the juicer can be easily disassembled for storage in parts. The frame itself can be left in the open air.
