A gas boiler has a very simple chimney through which hot gases are released into the atmosphere. If it is slightly modified, the heat emitted to the street can be taken away and used to heat the house. The proposed modernization will significantly reduce gas costs and will pay for itself very quickly.

The process of refining a gas heating system
To extract heat from gases in the chimney, it is necessary to bend a coil made of stainless corrugated pipe. The more turns he gets, the more efficiently the system will work.
Holes are drilled in the chimney pipe at the bottom and top to bring out the edges of the coil placed inside.
The chimney returns to its place. Fittings are attached to the edges of the corrugated pipe, and then there is a regular pipe that needs to be brought into the coolant circulation system. The connection is made so that the return flow enters the coil and is heated before it goes into the boiler.
Such a simple coil very effectively removes heat from the exhaust gases. Although it reduces the permeability of the chimney, this is compensated by a supercharger, which is located higher in the system. It creates sufficient draft, due to which there are no difficulties with smoke removal. In the example, when using a coil from a pipe section only 6 m long, it was possible to reduce the temperature of gases discharged onto the street by 50 degrees Celsius.
This heat remains in the house and allows you to burn less gas.
