If you often use an oven, then you are familiar with the problem of scale and grease that forms not only on the bottom, but also on the walls. If you also don’t like to spend a long time rubbing the oven until it shines and want to find the easiest and most affordable way, be sure to try cleaning it with one original method.
We will need:
- any dishwasher tablet;
- sponge or cotton rags, fabric;
- a roll of disposable kitchen towels;
- latex gloves.
How to simply clean your oven
Place the dishwasher tablet in a bowl and fill with hot water. Stir until completely dissolved. You don't need a lot of water - one glass is enough.
Soak a sponge or cotton cloth in this solution and lubricate the walls, bottom and top of the oven well.
Soak disposable towels in the same solution and place them over the entire dirty surface.
You can first lay out the fabric, and only then go over it with a wet sponge so that the liquid is evenly absorbed into the napkins. But it is convenient to do this only on the lower surface. It is better to glue already damp rags to the sides and ceiling.Don't forget to glue the fabric to the oven door in this way.
Depending on the degree of contamination, leave everything for at least 30 minutes. If the oven has not been cleaned for a long time, you can leave the dirt to soak for two hours, but from time to time you should soak the towels again with the solution.
After the allotted time, we wipe the surface with the same cloths, removing softened dirt, scale and grease. If you clean the stove regularly this way, large stains will not form. For heavily soiled areas, you will have to use a hard sponge soaked in the same solution. But most stains can be removed incredibly quickly and easily by simply wiping the surface a little with damp towels.
It is best to carry out the procedure with gloves, since the dishwasher tablet contains active substances that are harmful to human skin. After such cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and the oven will shine with cleanliness.
