Good afternoon Surely every grandmother has knitting threads at home that her mother wants to throw in the trash. Of course, it’s a pity to throw away large balls of a wide variety of threads, and therefore I propose an idea on how to make a beautiful toy from knitting threads that will not only please the eye, but also collect dust! But I’ll say right away - it will take a little time and desire. If they are, then let's start!
What do we need?
1- these are the balls of thread themselves (I will make them from wool, but you can use others)
2- this is cardboard, preferably thick, but regular cardboard will also do.
3-scissors.
4- pen to draw a circle (it’s better, of course, to use a compass).
5- for the nose - a piece of pink fabric 9x7 cm, sewing thread, needle.
6 blue (other colors are possible), red black and white self-adhesive.
We may also need: a ruler, something with a sharp end (knife).

When you have found all the materials, you can begin manufacturing.
First we need to cut out two circles from cardboard. To do this, take cardboard and bend it in half.

Next we draw a circle. I used a ball, but it’s better, of course, to draw a circle with a compass.

Here's what happened:

After that we cut it out and we will have two circles:

Then in the center of the cut out circle we cut out another circle into which the ball will fit.
I have this one:

And now, using a ruler, we measure 60cm of thread, on which the “Kapitoshka” will hang.
Place it as shown in the picture.

Ready! Now we cover it all with the second circle and proceed to the next step.
Now we will wind the “Kapitoshka” itself, or rather, we will wrap circles as shown in the picture below

This must be done carefully, preferably turn to turn. Instead of one large ball, you can use several small different colors.
In the end, this is what should happen (yours may be different):

Now you need to cut the thread along the edge of the circle (it’s more convenient to do this with small scissors):

After this, you need to pull and tie the thread between the circles into two knots:

Once tied, we remove the cardboards; we no longer need them.
We raise our “Kapitoshka” and find a place for the face. Let's make it half-baked. Now let's start making the nose.
For this we need a piece of pink fabric 9x7cm, a regular thread with a needle. From the fabric we cut out a circle with a diameter of approximately 7cm. Now take a needle, step back 3mm from the edge and sew with a “needle forward” stitch.
This is what you should get:

Pull the bag a little and fill it with padding polyester or cotton wool.
After filling, we finally tighten the circle, secure it so that the cotton wool does not fall out (you should get a ball)
Now let's start making the eyes.
We will have them from self-adhesive blue, black and white.
We cut out the ovals as shown in the picture (you need to cut them evenly and take into account the fact that the black one is the smallest and the blue one is the largest):

Blue is larger than white by 2-3mm, white is larger than black by 2-3mm.
Cut out a mouth from red self-adhesive paper. We attach the eyes above the nose, closer to the edges of the face.
We glue the mouth under the nose. All that remains is to make “Kapitoshka” fluffy.
All!

P.S. You can take a larger circle. Then the toy will be bigger. For example, I once wound on a circle with a diameter of 23 cm! I shook it for a long time...

This circle is made of plastic. And the cap turned out like this:

As you can see, the toy turned out to be beautiful and not expensive. Even a child can do it if desired.
Well, this is where my article comes to an end, good luck to everyone in the repetition!
