How to make a device for pressing bearings out of the seat

We put a piece of hose on the stud with the nut, screw on the second nut, put on the steel tube and screw on the third nut. We insert the rubber hose into the bearing hole and tighten the nut over it. As a result, the rubber part spreads out and gets jammed in the bearing.

We sharply hit the upper nut with the tube a couple of times to break the bearing in the socket. Then we pull it out by rocking the pin from side to side.

How to connect 2 plastic pipes of the same diameter at right angles

We cover the end of the plastic pipe with sandpaper and secure it along the edges with clamps. We make a notch at the end of the second pipe, moving it back and forth along the sandpaper and maintaining a vertical line.

Remove the clamps and sandpaper. We connect the pipes strictly at 90 degrees.

How to make 2 mating parts mutually free or fixed

From the timber we make 2 mating parts, one with a cutout in the center, and the other with a protrusion. In the connected parts, we make a recess transversely in the center for the rod.

We drill into the part with the cutout and into the rod from one edge of the hole.

We insert a nail into them, allowing the rod to rotate 180 degrees around the nail. Having folded back the rod, we insert the protrusion of the part into the cutout of another. We return the rod back, mutually fixing the parts.

How to secure a cable using a stud and nuts

We make a flat at the end of the pin and drill a hole in it. Then we screw the hairpin with the flat outward into the hole in the end of the wooden beam. We screw the nut below and the wing nut above the hole onto the stud.

We insert the end of the cable into the hole of the stud and tighten the wing nut, securely fixing the cable.

How to lengthen 2 synthetic fiber belts

To connect two synthetic tapes, it is not necessary to overlap them. We melt the ends of the ribbons in the flame of a gas burner and press them against each other. After cooling, we obtain a connection in strength that is not inferior to the material.

How to make a clamp from a bolt, a spherical nut and a profile pipe

We thin the end of the bolt and, stepping back from the end, make a circular shallow groove. In the center of the spherical nut, drill a hole equal to the diameter of the end of the bolt and make a vertical cut. We drive the end of the bolt into the hole in the plug of the spherical nut until it fits into the annular groove. In a fragment of a profile rectangular pipe, remove one wide side.

On the narrow side we cut a threaded hole into which we screw the bolt, and again put a spherical nut on its end. We get a clamp for tying or processing workpieces.

How to make a tool for drilling holes from a broken drill

We form a smooth cone at the end of the drill and perform a longitudinal groove.

With this tool we drill holes in wooden blanks for the heads of screws, screws and self-tapping screws.
