To work you will need:
- paper.
- glue stick.
- universal glue "Titan".
- scissors.
- wallpaper.
- rain for the Christmas tree.
In order to get started, let's prepare templates. One pattern will have round petals and the other will have pointed edges. On A4 size sheets we place the templates on almost half the sheet. For the base, take a CD, place it in the middle and draw petals around it.
For the pen we will need a strip of paper measuring 2x30cm.
Using the templates, we cut out the necessary parts for the basket from paper. We also cut out two pieces of each type from the prepared wallpaper. We will use them to cover the paper on both sides.
Take the CD and use a pencil or pen to trace the edges for the base.
Using scissors, cut between each petal to the edge of the base outline. And bend each petal inward, towards the middle of the base.
Using universal glue “Titan” we glue the petals together.
Then we glue a strip intended for the handle of the basket. We fix it at an equal distance from each other.
Now it's time to glue the remaining part to the basket. We place the base in the middle of the workpiece with pointed petals. And glue it well.
Let's move on to decorating the basket. For this we need wallpaper. We cut out four squares measuring 10x10 cm from them. We will make a flower from them.
Take a square and fold it in half.
Then fold it in half again.
Fold the resulting triangle in half again.
From the resulting triangle you need to make a petal. Using scissors, we peel off the upper corners of the workpiece, giving it an oval edge. Then we unfold it, and we get a blank with 8 petals.
We do the same with the remaining squares.
We are preparing our blanks for further work. To do this, take scissors and cut the first template from one petal to the middle. We cut out one petal from the second blank. From the third we cut off two, and from the fourth there are 3 pieces.
Let's start creating a flower. Take the first template and glue the petals on the cut. Glue one on top of the other. Using the same principle, we glue the remaining pieces together.
We prepare the remaining templates.
We begin to assemble the flower from the prepared blanks.
On each workpiece we cut off the bottom of the resulting cone. But just a little. And we continue to assemble the flower by gluing the pieces together with universal Titan glue. In this case, we place the petals in a checkerboard pattern relative to each other.
Take a knitting needle or skewer and twist the petals on each row of the flower.
Now we cut out a small circle with a diameter of 2 cm from the wallpaper and glue it to the bottom of the flower.
Then we take the Christmas tree rain and make a small bunch of fluffy strands out of it. And glue it to the handle of our basket. Glue a small circle or oval of wallpaper on top of it.
Then we glue the flower to a circle or oval in the rain. That's it, our paper basket is ready.
