How to sew a hole in clothes with a hidden seam
The clothes need to be turned inside out, laid out flat, and the torn edges of the hole should be brought together so that they fit seam to seam. Then they are secured on top with a piece of tape.
The clothes are turned right side out again. After this, you need to adjust the fabric again. This is one of the most important stages, so if it doesn’t work out, it’s better to repeat everything again with a new piece of tape.
Next, take a thread to match the fabric and the thinnest needle. A small knot is made at the edge of the thread. The place of the tear is supported from the inside with your fingers. The needle is then aligned parallel to the tear and inserted into it so that its tip comes out in front of the hole. The tape cannot be pierced.The task is to catch the knot so that it is unnoticeable.
Next you need to grab the fabric with a needle in front of the tear and behind it. First you need to pick up a couple of threads. The stitches are made very close to each other. Their length gradually increases to the center of the hole, and then decreases again to its end. The adhesive tape serves as a limiter; it cannot be pierced. The needle only starts on one side each time.
Having stitched the hole to the edge and a little further, you need to hold the fabric and pull out the thread. As a result, the gap will prolong.
The stitches will leave small dots. If the thread is chosen to match, it will not be noticeable. Just rip off the tape, bring the needle to the wrong side and make a tack.
